Trump appears to be in a contest with himself to see how low he can go. I doubt we’ve seen his worst yet!
But he thinks we should make abortion illegal and we should punish women that have abortions. Really. He said that.
He seems to have recognized that he has gone lower than his previous record because his campaign later walked it back. Usually he doubles down when he hits a new low. This time he offered clarification and kind of took back his statement. Kind of.
But don’t worry. We haven’t seen the worst of him yet. I am confident he can go lower. I’m very, very confident he can go lower. He can go lower than anyone. He’s very good at going lower.
